Hi, my name is Amelia, I am here today to talk about my story on being Canadian. I was born January 24, 2003 in Sarnia Ontario I have a mom, dad and an older brother. I live in Petrolia Ontario. My favourite sport is basketball. I like playing basketball because it’s fun and I think I’m pretty good at it.
Every year, my family gets invited to go to a weekend party up North. Then, last year, we recently got invited to go to Tobermory. We got invited back this year, as well. We go on hikes and there’s this place called the grove where you swim. The water is really clear. On windy days there’s big waves. The waves can be dangerous because they can pull you out into the lake. I enjoyed going to Tobermory. Last year we went on a hike and we sat on a rock and watched the sun set. I had a great experience and I can’t wait to have many more great experiences up there.
The people in Canada are pretty nice, there are some rude people but not that much. I have great friends that are always there for me. They help me with everything. I have good parents that treat my brother and I well. My parents help me out with a lot. My family and I don’t travel a lot, usually only in the summer. Every year in the summer I find some time to go see my cousins up North. I don’t get to see them a lot because they live 2 hours away from us. My cousins names are Catherine, Keirra, Julia, and Grace.
I recently went to Toronto with my class for our graduation trip. When we were on the bus I looked out the window and seen Canada’s beautiful scenery. The mountains we’re beautiful and the water was as well. I had a great experience when we went on our grad trip.
In conclusion, this is why Canada is amazing and I’m proud to be Canadian.
